July Read Your Words

Last night saw a small group of us in Javabean cafe, for the Read Your Words poetry/spoken word night. As I organise this event, I had hoped a few more people would have been able to come along, but we seem to have ‘hit holiday season’. Those that came were able to enjoy about an hour of readings from Jess (above)

Kate (above), Peppy, Kat, Justin and David, with subjects ranging from the minimum wage to Friday evening drinks parties… We also enjoyed the art of Fola Akinsola on display, and the hospitality of Javabean.

Hopefully we’ll squeeze another evening in before Halloween – watch for details on Tunbridge Wells Writers @TWWriters
