A quick visit on Friday afternoon to Leefest which was at a ‘secret location near Tunbridge Wells’, and recreated Peter Pan’s Neverland with pirates, mermaids and lost boys. I’ve seen photos of night-time, and it looks very magical. On Friday afternoon it was just nice to relax with some friends in the sun, hear some music, and not worry too much about anything. Tickets are now on sale for Leefest 2017, a bit of a gamble without a line-up, but the standard was high for 2016.

My main reason for a five hour visit: I was keen to catch WE ARE BANDICOOT before being with them in Hastings at the end of the month. Worth the queue for wristbands, we also enjoyed The Bay Rays, Corey Fox-Fardell, Formation and Get Inuit. Check out these BBC sound clips
